Chadd Mennenga
Owner / Operator
At age seven, Chadd secured his first commercial mowing account. Throughout high school, his customer base continued to grow. After completing his degrees in Landscape Management and Turf Grass Management, he began designing and installing landscapes with a particular interest in hardscapes. Superior Landscaping was established and has continued to improve the standard for excellence in the landscape industry. Chadd’s business sense, emphasis on quality, and attention to detail allow him continued success.
With over 25 years of experience in the field, Chadd effectively manages his organization, giving it a reputation known throughout the Pontiac area for exceptional work in landscape installation and maintenance. He has put together an amazing team of experts from the industry to help him uphold the high standards he maintains for his business. Under his leadership, his employees continue to grow and improve from year to year. They develop strong leadership skills through continued education and new experiences. He helps to instill confidence in them by including them in the decision-making process. Even with strong leaders in place, Chadd is still very involved in the daily happenings of his business. He regularly visits job sites to ensure that quality work is being performed to both his and the client’s expectations.
When Chadd isn’t working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Megan, his sons, Nolan and Graham, and their good dog, Buster.
Christine Boeringa
Office Manager
Chris is organized, efficient, and very detail-oriented. In college, she studied business and accounting. She currently has over 20 years of experience managing landscaping businesses. As the Office Manager, Chris handles all financial responsibilities and keeps the business running smoothly. Chris volunteers as a board member for her local library fiercely supports her youngest in his many athletic activities, and is a proud Marine Mom! She also enjoys reading and traveling.
Mark Levin
Team Leader
Mark has a degree in Turf Management with over 25 years of experience in the industry. He managed grounds at various prestigious golf courses throughout the country. Mark has roots in Pontiac and wanted to return to the community he grew up in. When the opportunity arose to collaborate with his childhood friend, Chadd, he gladly accepted. Mark has been with Superior Landscaping since 2008. His daily responsibilities at Superior include lawn applications, irrigation installation, and maintenance, as well as landscape installation. He is driven to perform the highest quality work possible to surpass our competition and be the best at what he does. His goal is to help grow the business and to pass on his skills and work habits to those around him. In his free time, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife Amy, son Luke, and daughter Eisley, on the water.
Mike Good
Team Leader
A member of the Superior team since 2007, Mike is the lead Landscape Supervisor and a favorite among our clients. His knowledge and experience in landscape and hardscape production are unmatched. Mike’s passion for quality construction is evident in his attention to detail on the job site. His enthusiasm and creativity shine through as he pours his heart and soul into every project he works on. He loves being a part of the transformation on each project, seeing a landscape through from start to finish and thrives on the positive feedback he receives from our clients. Always seeking ways to improve, Mike continues to enhance his knowledge of the green industry through various college & training courses.
Sarah Hartke
Landscape Design & Sales
Joining the Superior team in 2014, Sarah plays an important role in customer relations. She works with clients to create landscape designs to fit the customer’s needs and wants. She is responsible for communicating the details of the projects to the team leaders so that the finished product matches the customers’ expectations. Sarah has a bachelor’s degree from SIU, and 18 years of customer service and landscape design experience. In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors, baking, and spending time with her family.
